Goalline, a six-a-side football tournament was organized on 4th and 5th June at Ground Zero Football arena, Dattawadi, Pune. This was the first season of the tournament which received fabulous response as the registrations got closed a week before the tournament. 16 teams across Pune competed for the coveted trophy.
The teams were divided into 4 groups and each group had 4 teams. Initially matches were played by teams in the same group in a league format. The top two teams from every group then advanced to the next stage. What followed after the group stage was a quarter-final round followed by semi-final round and then the final.
The final was a closely fought contest between Peace FC and Eridians where Peace FC emerged victorious with a score of 3-2. Henok from team Eridians won the player of the tournament award.
