Muziclub celebrates sixth anniversary – dedicates growth to its 5000 students

Muziclub was conceptualized by people who breathe Music and it is this same passion which has kept them thriving and expanding all over Pune, India and UK. It is a hub for musicians – from celebrities to professionals to students, 4 to 70 year olds, everyone hangs out at muziclub. Their motto is – I live music.

It was started in June’ 2010 in Baner, Pune by ex-IT professionals who realized music is their calling. Yogesh Rathore, Devinder Singh Chahal and Vinay Peshwa, all senior IT Professionals, gave Muziclub the required entrepreneurial boost to scale up its vision, operations and outreach. Hardik Vaghela and Mohammed Muneem, who are also the founding members of the famous sufi-ethnic band “Alif” (formerly known as Highway 61), took the mantle of training the students in the early days. Shruti Jakati, Visharad in Indian classical music from the prestigious Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, joined the Muziclub core team as the Principal and Head of quality. From around 100 students in 2010, the club has trained more than 5000 students over the years and is making great strides in the field of music.

The student-teacher relationship is ever-evolving and with everything available through social media and internet, no singular method of teaching remains effective. Even so, traditional methods of teaching have a huge significance in music awareness and learning. What Muziclub offers to its students is the best of both worlds; old-school methodology revamped with a good dose of trending techniques, platforms for performances and simply a 360 degree progress.

Demystifying thoughts to predict behavior

Much of what we don't understand about being human is simply in our heads. From those clusters of cells in our head arises the elusive, but powerful, mind. Despite our best attempts to "know ourselves," the truth is that we often know surprisingly little about our own minds, and even less about the way others think. Meet Psychologist Dr. Nitesh Kumar Jha, Clinical Research Officer at INCLEN (The International Clinical Epidemiology Network) Trust International, New Delhi, who has long sought insights into the complex mental processes that dictate human actions, and has made significant strides in lifting that veil of mystery.
