Siddhi Sakla Jain’s The Learning Pod – An Architect transforming Learning Services

Siddhi Sakla Jain launched The Learning Pod in April 2016 at Gangadham Chowk, Pune. It is a rent an hour studio space which caters to various fields of learning and is well equipped with all modern facilities and state of the art infrastructure making the environment conducive to all age groups.

The Learning Pod is a 1300 sq.ft of fully air-conditioned studio space with all amenities that can accommodate 40-100 people. Clients pay only for the number of hours they use the facility. Siddhi’s team mainly targets small businesses to carry out workshops, regular classes, larger meetings, conferences, seminars, kitty parties, birthdays, photoshoots and various other learning activities.

I never intended to open a studio, but I also believe that we are often led to where we need to be. This beautiful space presented itself, and inspiration took over – Siddhi

It is a multi-activity center offering development and fitness programs for all age groups. They had some of the most experienced people in their field offering classes and workshops regularly in the space. Their programs are curated to offer certified courses by qualified professionals to enhance essential life skills and bring personal advancement in children as well as adults. Siddhi and her team not only host the events at their venue but also help in advertising and marketing through various social mediums.

About Siddhi Sakla Jain

Siddhi completed her Architectural studies in Pune from Dr. B. N. College of Architecture and Masters in Urban Design from University of Sheffield , United Kingdom. She had the opportunity to complete her internship at the prestigious and renowned Christopher Charles Benninger Architects (CCBA) in Pune and work with a firm in London for 4 months. She is now one of the Directors of Raviraj Realty, a real estate firm in Pune.

The Learning Pod is a result of her entrepreneurial spirit and is influenced from her studies in England and mainly deals with the concept of community using vacant office spaces.

When asked about the road ahead for The Learning Pod, Siddhi says, “The goal of the company is to create a center of learning and excellence and to repeat this model to make vacant office spaces functional in every area of the city. We are working on a plan to establish centers in Kharadi, Wakad and Lower Parel, Mumbai.“
