Meet Mumbai based Sujata Singhi, who is on a mission to educate, empower and help people evolve to reach their highest potential.
A medalist student during her MBA, Sujata completed her post graduation from Bangalore in 1992 majoring in Marketing and Communication. She moved to Mumbai after her marriage with her best friend Rakesh Singhi. Although she got a good corporate opportunity, she chose to pursue her education in Mass Communication and Journalism. She always wanted to work towards shaping up the lives of children so she took up a job as a professor in International Economics. Later on she also worked in IB (International Baccalaureate) Board affiliated schools as professor, mentor and speaker. She was associated with major International schools of Mumbai like Bombay International School, Singapore International School and The Cathedral School. During this phase, she was fortunate to be closely observant to International Education and the life of students.
With the changing times, I realized that there is something missing in the students’ lives. They were under lot of stress and it disturbed me. That’s when I decided to work with students to make them lead a better life and I started my journey of self-learning to become a life coach and motivational speaker.

I was not connected to the fraternity where they do all this kind of work and I joined a little bit late. I also faced a bit of issue – there were people who wanted me to work with them for a short span and after I finished the work, I wouldn’t see the objective as to what was decided on. It used to put me off. I then decided to work individually and get associated with only those persons who would show concern and appreciation to my work. Then I was able to get along with the right kind of people in my life.

She started giving talks in various schools, colleges and universities. The more she interacted with people, the more she realized that there is a common thread that needs to be looked at – the spiritual access was missing in our lives. According to Sujata, we Indians have a rich cultural heritage and know the right balance between natural and spiritual world that ultimately leads to happy life. However, this knowledge was missing today. That is when she started creating learning based modules. She also started studying NLP techniques and practicing it on her self to the point that she became a Licensed NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer.
If the CEO is happy, the whole company is happy. This led me to broaden my perspective and I entered the realm of life and transformation coaching and I started coaching officers, having one-on-one sessions and in groups apart from conducting open seminars and speaking on various platforms.

Through her sessions, Sujata realized that as her clients came from different walks of life, they have distinctive thought process and belief systems. A firm believer in continuous improvement, she researched on scientific ways to bring her clients on a common level of understanding to make her coaching more effective. Hers being the third generation of musicians in the family, she knew that Music connects people together and leads to abundance in life. She started researching on sound as a scientific medium to train and coach people. That is when she came to know about the profound impact of Himalayan Singing Bowls.
Tibetan Singing Bowls
The Tibetan people are known for their practice of sound healing with a musical instrument known as a Singing Bowl. 70% of the human body is made up of water and water is the best conductor of Sound. Hence, sound goes deep inside the body at the cellular level enabling effective healing. The resonance produced by these hand-crafted Tibetan bowls can measurably improve human immune function, lower heart rate and blood pressure, soothe pain in cancer patients and drastically reduce stress levels. Besides being excellent therapeutic tools for the treatment of most medical disorders, Tibetan Singing Bowls are also great transformational healing tools for guiding seekers on their path to spiritual enlightenment.
Learning sound bowl healing from the adopted grandson of the Lama of the aboriginal Newari tribe of Tibet, and now dwelling in the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal, helped me realize that it was not merely about the techniques of using sound.. it goes beyond.
