TIMSCDR Mumbai Educator honoured with MTRES Teaching Excellence Award 2018

Education plays a vital role in building the future of our nation by transforming lives and communities. We have several educator heroes who help students aim high and achieve their potential, often meeting and overcoming considerable challenges along the way. Recently Delhi based MT Research & Educational Services (MTRES) came up with Teaching Excellence Awards (TEA) 2018, to recognize the monumental role teachers play in our society as they instil a desire to learn and achieve and create tomorrow’s leaders. Meet one of the awardees, Pankaj Mudholkar, Deputy Director in Thakur Institute of Management Studies, Career Development and Research (TIMSCDR), Mumbai, who has been honoured with Excellent Teacher Award in MTRES TEA 2018.

Mr. Pankaj Mudholkar has a total of thirteen years of teaching experience at postgraduate level. He holds MCA, MBA (E-Business), M. Phil. (Computer Science), B.Ed. degrees. University of South America honored him Doctorate – D.Litt. He is also working as a visiting faculty with Madurai Kamaraj University. He has presented and published several research papers at National and International Conferences as well as in National and International Journals on diverse areas of Computer Science and Management. He is a member of Professional Societies like ISTE, CSI, IAENG, IACSIT, CSTA, etc. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applications from Mewar University, Rajasthan, in the field of Web Crime Mining using Event Ontology.

Under University of Mumbai, he was appointed as Convener for the subjects of Web Technology & Mini Project for MCA Sem. I CBCGS, Web Application Development using Open Source Tools for MCA Sem. II CBCGS and Java Programming (Theory) and Java Programming & UML Lab. He was also appointed as a member of Syllabus Setting for the subjects of Multimedia Technology and E-Business under University of Mumbai.

He has conducted corporate trainings and workshops for medical professionals on digital marketing and use of social media in healthcare. He was also the guide for development of many apps for healthcare organizations like Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Mumbai; Dr. Jacobs Advanced Diabetic Treatment Centre; MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai; Clinical Medicine Informatics; and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).

Mr Pankaj Mudholkar is the recipient of Best Research Paper Award in International Conference on Advances in Information Technology & Management ICAIM-2016 and ICAIM-2018. He was also awarded with IEAE-Research Excellence Award 2018, IEAE- Best Teacher Award 2018, IEAE- Excellence Award 2017 by Institute for Exploring Advances in Engineering, Karnataka. He was honoured with Best Educator and Best Researcher Award from International Institute of Organized Research.

Green ThinkerZ Society, Punjab, honoured him with Bright Researcher and Bright Educator Award. He also received CSI – Best Paper Presenter Award at International Conference organized during Computer Society of India’s Annual Convention 2017. National Center for Quality Management (NCQM), Mumbai, had also bestowed on him the Best Educational Quality Enhancement Team President Award in 2010.
