We have several educator heroes who help students aim high and achieve their potential, often meeting and overcoming considerable challenges along the way. Recently Delhi based MT Research & Educational Services (MTRES) came up with the second edition of their Teaching Excellence Awards (TEA) 2019, to recognize the monumental role teachers play in our society to create tomorrow’s leaders as they instil a desire to learn and achieve. The awards celebrate the efforts of all those who go above and beyond to promote excellence within our education system. Meet Dr. Sachin Kumar Srivastava, Professor of Marketing, School of Management, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, who has been honoured with Excellent Teacher Award in MTRES TEA 2019.

Prof. (Dr.) Srivastava is an accomplished professional and professor in the field of Marketing and sales. He did his B.E from Agra University in 2002, M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from UP Technical University in 2013, MBA with major in Marketing from UP Technical University in 2005 and Ph.D. in Public Administration from Lucknow University in 2011. His current areas of interest are motivation and leadership for front line executives and front line work culture.

He started his career in 2005 with Bharti Tele-venture Services as Sales Executive. Later he moved to education sector. In 15 years of his career, he worked as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor and Dean of Management. In 2017, he joined ISBAT University Uganda as Professor & Dean, Faculty of Business Management and Commerce. Currently, he is working as Professor of Marketing, School of Management in Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun.

He has published 19 research papers in reputed national and international journals, out of which 5 are Scopus indexed and ABDC listed. He has also written 4 books for post graduate level students and these books are quite popular among students. He has successfully organised multiple academic conferences, MDPs, FDPs, etc. He has also played crucial role in the administrative work related to various national and international accreditation processes such as UGC, NAAC, IACBE, WASC and QS rating, etc.

About MTRES
MT Research & Educational Services is an initiative to bridge the gap between academics and industry. It was founded in 2013 with the combination of industry, academic and research personnel. They execute various educational events (Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Short Term Courses, Trainings and Competitions) throughout India.
