Award Winning Initiative by Students of VGEC provides digital literacy for underprivileged kids


Students of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad started an initiative in 2015 to work on digital literacy for underprivileged kids. Led by Keval Purohit, the team has organised numerous camps all over Gujarat and have already reached out to over 5000 people. With over 110 volunteers, this team is doing a fantastic job in making the kids from rural and backward areas get a first hand knowledge of computers and mobile. Awarded by GTU Innovation Council for their work, the team is now working with the help of GCERT to take their initiative to an altogether new level to create an everlasting impact in our society.

This School Kit Program has brought smiles to over 2.6 lakh underprivileged children


The School Kit Program of Seva Sahayog Foundation is a total volunteers' program which aims at providing underprivileged children from the urban slums and rural areas across India, new & quality education aid at the beginning of every year. Since it’s inception in the year 2008, they have provided more than 2.6 lakh school kits to children in an effort to encourage them to attend schools and reduce the dropout rates.

Making hills around Pune Green is their Dream

Green Hills Tree Plantation

Shivsamrajya Pratishthan along with some of the alumni of Dr. Kalmadi High School organized a Tree plantation drive with the support of Green Hills group on 29th May 2016 at Hanuman Tekdi. Green Hills group has been working for more than 13 years in rain water harvesting and tree plantation in Pune. The group has planted more than two thousand trees on this hill so far.
